Story
A time-travel through three generations
The journey begins in 1907 with Franz Plunger’s humble watchmaking shop. After his passing in 1914 during World War I, his wife Karolina took over the workshop with strength and determination. A few years later, their son Rudolf followed in his father’s footsteps and became a watchmaker.
In 1960, Rudolf’s son Günter began his apprenticeship in the family business and took over in 1978.
In 2013, Günter’s daughter Sandra joined the company and, by 2018, had taken full leadership – bringing with her fresh energy and an eye for modern trends.
The story behind a small jewelry brand
Sometimes, it's a twist of fate that changes everything. For Sandra Plunger, it was her training in repairs and goldsmithing that paved the way for her own gold and silver jewelry line.
Sandra is constantly experimenting, designing, and creating. She finds inspiration at trade shows across Germany, Italy, and Switzerland, and brings her ideas to life with her unique designs. Since 2016, her morgentau jewelry line has been available at Juwelier Plunger.
